Margaret Mary Welch, 87, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2021. She was at the Sturgill Hospice Care Center in Brooksville, FL and is now with our loving God. A resident of Florida since 1992, she previously lived in Hopewell Junction, NY.

Born in Chicago, IL on February 4, 1934, Marge was the daughter of the late Frank and Virginia (Lyons) Hinke. At the age of 57, Margaret earned her BS from Dominican College in Orangeburg, NY and had been employed as an Occupational Therapist at the Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Peekskill, NY. Margaret was a parishioner of St. Columba Church, Hopewell Junction, NY and St. Theresa's RC Church, Spring Hill, FL. While living in Florida, she was a proud member of the Snowbird Club, the Long Island Club, and the Brooklyn Club, where she served as past Treasurer. She also enjoyed volunteering for Hospice.

On April 27, 1957 at St. Andrew's Church in Flushing, NY, she married Frank D. Welch who predeceased her in 2015. She is also survived by her children, Peggy Welch of Apalachin, NY, Carol Impellizeri and her husband Mario of Clermont, FL, and Doug Welch and his wife Kathy of Wappingers Falls, NY; 10 grandchildren; 9 1/2 great-grandchildren; sisters Jeanette Gill and Loretta Weinborg; and brother-in-law Hal Weinborg.

For Florida family and friends, a Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 12:00 noon at St Theresa's Catholic Church. For New York family and friends, a Memorial Mass for Marge and Frank will be on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10am at St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction, NY, followed by burial at St. Denis Cemetery.
