EAST FISHKILL - Maria LoSardo, 99, an area resident for 35 years, died on September 19, 2025 surrounded by her family. She previously lived in the Bronx.

Born on February 5, 1926 in Italy, Maria was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Angela (Celeste) Martines. She was employed as a seamstress at a dress factory for many years and also worked at her family's business.

Maria enjoyed cooking, sewing, singing, and playing cards. She liked to watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune on TV. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family.

Maria is survived by her children and their spouses, Salvatore and Rosaria LoSardo of East Fishkill and Colomba "Mimi" and Calogero LoVullo of East Fishkill; her grandchildren and their spouses, Vincenzo LoVullo, Rita and Keith Bohlinger, Maria and Alfio Milio, Maria and Ralph DeCicco, Diane and Sean Sambells, Daniela and Garrett Campbell, Margaret and Scott Fischer, and Biagio and Marisa LoSardo; her great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Isabella, Nadia, Anthony, Salvatore, Keith Jr., Aidan, Brandan, Gabriella, Joseph, Lianna, Sofia, Dylan, Scarlett, Laurel, and Leo; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Maria was also predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Biagio LoSardo, who died in 1987; and her 9 siblings.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 22nd from 4 - 8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, September 23rd at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by burial at St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx.
