WAPPINGERS FALLS – Marie DiPiazza, 72, of Wappingers Falls died Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at home. Marie was born August 7, 1949 at 5th Avenue Hospital, the daughter of Rosario "Sal" and Rosalie (DeFalco) Pipitone. She was raised in the Bronx and was a 1968 graduate of James Monroe High School. On March 25, 1972 she married the love of her life, Alan DiPiazza in Oswego, NY and again at Holy Cross Church on June 25, 1972. Alan predeceased her 2013. Marie is survived by her daughters, Angela (Salvatore) DiFatta of Pawling and Christina (Mannie) Lemus of Wappingers Falls; her six grandchildren, Anthony, Gianna, Michaela, John, Lilianna, and Alana; and her beloved dog, BJ. She will be forever in our hearts and eternally missed by all. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2021 at 11:30am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY 12524.
