FISHKILL – Marie Ann Link Leonelli, 77, an area resident for over 50 years, died peacefully at home on August 28, 2022 surrounded by her family. She previously lived in Westchester County.

Born in New York City on July 30, 1945, Marie was the daughter of the late Michael and Rita (Jean) Vizzini. In May of 1965, she married the love of her life, Gene Link, who predeceased her on August 12, 1985 after 20 years of marriage.

Marie is survived by her children, Linette Petruzziello of Fishkill, Michael Link and his wife Tara of Newburgh, Gary Link and his wife Suzanne of Summerville, SC, and Laurie Gordon and her husband Reg of Galway, Ireland; her grandchildren, Kymberlii, Daniel, Devyn, Morgan, Michael, Anna-Kate, Marena, Jake, Emily, Caitlyn, Cayden, Milla, Alex, and Olivia; and her great-grandchildren, Dax and Aria. In addition to her husband and parents, Marie was also predeceased by her son-in-law, Sal Petruzziello; and her second husband, Robert Leonelli.

Marie liked bowling, playing softball, and playing cards. She was a babysitter to many local families for many years, and treated each and every child she cared for like one of her own. More than anything, she loved her own family. She always enjoyed attending her children's and grandchildren's activities and sporting events, and was their biggest fan. She loved to brag about how proud she was of her grandchildren!
