FISHKILL - Marie (Mary) Rose Puccio, 91, a resident of Fishkill since 2019, passed away at home on January 21, 2024.

Born in Manhattan on April 24, 1932, Mary was the daughter of the late Michelangelo and Giuseppina (Cinquemani) Sperrazza. She worked as a seamstress before marrying her life-long love, John Puccio, on July 11, 1954 in Manhattan. She then worked in various part-time office jobs while raising her family. John predeceased her in 2013.

Mary loved vacationing in Aruba with her husband John. She enjoyed reading, bird watching, ceramics, visiting casinos, relaxing poolside or at the beach. She loved to laugh and talk, listen to music and dance. She was an avid gardener, creating beautiful outdoor flower displays at her home. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally ... how she lit up whenever they came to visit!

Before moving to Fishkill, NY to be with her daughter and family, Mary lived in Queens, NY. She was a parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill.

She is survived by her daughter, Lucille Campbell, and her husband Duncan of Fishkill; her grandchildren, Marielle Davies and her husband Jeremy, Carolyn Cavarretta, John Puccio, and Anthony Puccio; her great-grandchildren, Luciana Davies, JJ (Jeremy) Davies, and Johnathan Davies; her daughter-in-law, Regina Puccio; her sister, Josephine Langellotti; her sister-in-law, Angelina Sperrazza; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was predeceased by her son, Nicholas Puccio, and her brother, Charles Sperrazza.

The family wishes to thank the staff at JanCare Private Health Services and Hudson Valley Hospice for the excellent care and compassion they gave to Mary.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 10 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY followed by interment at St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx.
