Marie C. Rositani of Hopewell Junction, NY passed away on December 26, 2022. She was born on February 12, 1932 to parents Anthony and Vincenza (Gallo) Guerrise in Italy. She married her beloved husband Gabriele Rositani on December 11, 1960 at our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Mount Vernon, NY. Gabriele predeceased her on December 3, 2006.

Marie was a very religious person and made it a point to attend Mass as often as she could. She loved to read, play bingo, and see her many friends. She was a member of the Senior Center in Hopewell Junction and looked forward to going there to socialize.

She is survived by her loving children: Dina Rositani, Frank Rositani, and Virginia Cocca and her husband Tony; her grandchildren: Massimo and Daniella Rositani, and Gabrielle, Michael, and Anthony Cocca.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marie was predeceased by her brother Anthony "Sonny" Guerrise.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday December 29, 2022 from 4-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday December 30, 2022 at 11 am at St. Denis Church in Hopewell, followed by entombment at the community mausoleum at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
