WAPPINGERS FALLS – Marie Thompson, born on September 25, 1949, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 73. Born in Yonkers, she moved to Eastchester in 1988 and then to Wappingers Falls in 2012. She was predeceased by her parents, Alfonse and Marie Miccoli. Marie graduated from Commerce High School (Yonkers) in 1967. She married Robert, who loved her very much, in 1973. She retired from the Harrison Public Library in 2012. Survivors include her husband, Robert Thompson; two sons, John (Samantha) and Eric (Michele); and her grandchildren whom she loved beyond words: Christopher, Kiara, and Brea. She is also survived by her younger sister, Linda Mulvaney (John). Marie would like to thank her children for being the best kids anyone could have and wish them the best of luck. She would also like to thank her daughters-in-law for being a part of her family. She wants her grandchildren to know that she loved them more than life and will be watching over them. She loved her grandchildren and was always working to get them just the right gifts for birthdays, Easter, and Christmas. Lastly, she would like to thank her husband, Robert, for loving her all the many years of their marriage. She knew him better than he knows himself. Visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm on Sunday, January 8 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY.
