POUGHKEEPSIE - Marie Theresa Viola passed away suddenly on November 13, 2022 at her home.

She was born on December 2, 1960 to Gwendolyn and Emilio Viola in Peekskill, NY. In 1969, her family moved to Dutchess County where she has resided since. She worked in Dutchess County for many years, having graduated from John Jay High School.

Marie was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved country music.

Marie is survived by her two daughters Rachel and Mary Tomlins; four grandchildren; her brothers Pete and Vincent Viola; sister Denise Strang; and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents; daughter Nicole; and a grandson.
