Marilyn Colucci, 62, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 1996 and formerly of the Bronx, died on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth, MA while vacationing with her family on Cape Cod.
Born in Astoria on November 9, 1950, she was the daughter of Antoinette Colucci and the late Matthew Colucci. Marilyn was employed as a teacher for the New York City Board of Education for 24 years until her retirement in April. She enjoyed gardening and outdoor activities.
In addition to her mother, Marilyn is also survived by her sisters, Joann Colucci and Barbara Colucci; and her nephew, Rene Colucci.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday and Thursday from 3-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will be on Friday at 11am at the funeral home followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
