Marilyn A. Sawicki, 82, of LaGrange and formerly of Bay Shore, died on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Dutchess Center for Rehabilitation in Pawling.
Born in Manhattan on September 10, 1931, she was the daughter of John and Lillian Boyen Jordan. Marilyn was employed as a banker for JP Morgan Chase in Hicksville for many years and was a parishioner of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church in LaGrangeville.
Marilyn was married to Harold Sawicki who predeceased her on May 27, 1982. She is survived by her son, Douglas Sawicki and his wife Regina of LaGrange; her grandchildren, Kimberly and Brian Sawicki; her sisters, Arline Brady of Great Kills, Staten Island, Carole Buneo of Oakwood, Staten Island and Jerilyn Jordan of Manhattan; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1925 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
