Marian "Mario" Dubiel, a Beacon resident since 1989, and formerly of Sleepy Hollow, died peacefully on June 24, 2021, at New York Presbyterian/ Columbia University Medical Center. He was 60.
Mario was born April 9, 1961, to the late Zdzislaw "Jeff" and Adela (Fudali) Dubiel in Jaworzno, Poland.
Mario was passionate about cars, especially classic cars and enjoyed repairing them growing up. He carried that passion over to his job as an Assistant Manager at Napa Auto Parts in Cortlandt Manor, where he was loved and well respected by his customers and coworkers. Mario was a very private person, but very proud.
Mario is survived by his brother, Eugene (Gienek) Dubiel and his wife, Maureen; his sister, Teresa Reddy and her husband, Michael; his niece, Krystyna Dubiel; his niece, Kaitlyn Reddy; his nephew, Mark Dubiel and his wife, Ashley; and his great-nieces, Dakota and Peyton Dubiel.
In addition to his parents, Mario was also predeceased by his brother, Zenon Dubiel and his wife, Irene.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 28, from 5pm – 8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, June 29, at 11am at St. Joachim Church in Beacon. Interment will immediately follow at St. Joachim Cemetery.
