Obituary

WAPPINGERS FALLS – Marion R. Chamberlain, 80, a ten year area resident, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at home. She lived previously in Balston Spa, Mount Kisco, and Florida.

Born in Mount Kisco on May 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Susan (Gardner) Roberts. Marion was a member of the bowling league at the Holiday (Hoe) Bowl in Wappingers Falls.

Marion is survived by her children and their spouses, Carol and Carmine Zanca of Orange County, Clyde and Wendy Chamberlain, Jr. of Ellenville, Clayton Chamberlain of Wappingers Falls, Craig and Valerie Chamberlain of North Carolina, Cheryl and Anthony Curinga of The Villages, FL, and Curtis and Carol Chamberlain of Stormville; her grandchildren, Amy Chamberlain, Clyde Chamberlain III, Craig Chamberlain, Jr., Chris Chamberlain, Carl Chamberlain, Korinne Chamberlain, Kaitlin Chamberlain, Scott Chamberlain, and Helene Chamberlain; her 4 great-grandchildren; her sister, Roberta Grace of Hopewell Junction; and many nieces and nephews especially Donna Smith. Marion was also predeceased by her husband, Charles Chamberlain in 1998; her grandson, Thomas Zanca in 2013; and her sisters, Anne Servillo and Nelly Turner.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2 -4 and 6-7:30 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by the funeral service at 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
