Obituary

Marion A. Manley, 86, a resident of the Town of Beekman for 41 years and formerly of Yorktown, died on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at her home.
Born in Rye on March 2, 1926, she was the daughter of Walter and Marion Lyons Washburn. Marion was a member of the Tymor, Beekman and Pawling Seniors and enjoyed playing bingo and tag saling.
On February 14, 1946 in Port Chester, Marion married Roger R. Manley who predeceased her on March 31, 1993. She is survived by her children, Ellen Luft of Lake Peekskill, Mary "Bunni" Giangrande and her husband Joe of Gilboa, Arlene Egan of Hopewell Junction, Patricia DeMasi and her husband Doug of Hopewell Junction, Lisa Manley of Poughquag and Rodger Manley and his wife Cheryl of Hopewell Junction; her sisters, Dorothy Reed, Betty Piper and Carol Hempstead; her brother, Ron Washburn; 20 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Jean Mazurack.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 12pm at the Church of the Resurrection, 182 Route 376, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in Beekman Cemetery.
