WAPPINGERS FALLS - Marisa Agosta, 72, an area resident since 1978 and formerly of Sleepy Hollow, died on November 17, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Italy, Marisa was the daughter of Agostino and Rosa (Monteleone) Mordocco.

Marisa married Frank Agosta at Immaculate Conception Church in Sleepy Hollow, who survives at home. She is also survived by her son Orazio "Horatio" Agosta; her sister-in-law, Rita Peralta and her husband Juan; her sister Carmella Agosta; three sisters and a brother in Genoa, Italy; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 12-5pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a Funeral Service during the calling hours.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
