WAPPINGERS FALLS - Mark W. Schattle, 55, a lifelong area resident, died suddenly at his home on August 8, 2020.
Born in Poughkeepsie on March 7, 1965, he was the son of Raymond and Teresa (Dahlem) Schattle. Mark was employed as an installer with SRI Sprinkler Systems, and was a member of Union 669 for 35 years. He enjoyed concerts, good food, landscaping, nature and playing his guitar.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Amber Schattle; his grandchildren, Blake, Joshua, Nick, Brooke and Josiah; his girlfriend, Dian McLean; and his cousins, Donna and Su. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Amy Abend.
Services were private.
