Mark Schiller, a resident of Montrose, died at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan on Thursday, December 11, 2014. He was 69.
Son of the late Mortimer and Lorraine (Asch) Schiller, he was born in Brooklyn on October 21, 1945. For many years, he worked as a truck driver for L & J Trucking in Queens.
On November 26, 1967, he married Roberta Davidow in the Bronx. Mrs. Schiller survives at home in Montrose.
Mark is also survived by his daughter, Meryl Schiller of Allston, MA; his son, Eric Schiller & his wife Erin of Highland, NY; his grandsons, Ryan and Connor Schiller; and his Brother, Bruce Schiller & his wife Karen of CO.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a brother, Fred Schiller.
Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 14 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. immediately after the visitation.
