Fishkill – Martin C. Miller, a resident of Fishkill previously of Pleasant Valley, died on November 20, 2021, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was 63.
Born in Poughkeepsie on August 8, 1958, Martin was the son of the late Floyd and Elizabeth (Mullen) Miller. He proudly served in the United States Navy as a member of SEAL Team Six and then served in the United States Naval Reserves out of Poughkeepsie. Martin was the owner of Miller Hardware in Pleasant Valley.
In 2000, he married Susan Brown, the love of his life. Susan survives at home.
Martin loved his music and especially enjoyed playing the drums; he loved corvettes, Karate and Taekwondo. But more than anything, he was a family man who loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Martin is survived by his children, Danielle Miller, Diana Miller, Jackie Miller, Sara Michael, Stephanie Laforge, Chris Ross, and Chris Laforge; his grandchildren, Evan, Christopher, Ryann, Charlee Kate, Sonny, Noah, Elijah, Clara and many other relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Service will be held on Wednesday at 10 am in the funeral home followed by burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
