Mary D. Bosch, 89, of Hyde Park, formerly of Copake and White Plains, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in New Rochelle, NY on March 30, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Jennie LePore.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Donald A. Bosch.
She is survived by her sons, Donald and his wife Eileen of Poughkeepsie, and Rob and his wife Debra of Highland; her daughter, Valerie Bell and her husband Allan of Hyde Park. Surviving also are her grandchildren, Ryan, Kristen, Curtis, Kyle, Allan, Erin, C.J., Sarah, and Courtney; great-grandchildren, Cadence, Mackenzie, and Mason; her sisters-in-law, Patricia LePore of Poughkeepsie and Marie LePore of New Jersey. Further survivors include many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by four brothers, Christopher LePore, Alfonse LePore, Anthony "Hip" LePore, and John LePore.
Mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend, Mary brought joy to all who knew her. She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed knitting, cooking, and above all, time with her family. Mary was interested in everyone she met and held an open door policy in her home, where old friends and new friends felt welcome to stop by for a chat, a cup of coffee, and a bite to eat. Her enthusiasm for life and love of family and friends will bring smiles to many as we remember her.
Mary's family would like to thank the staff members at Home Sweet Home on the Hudson and Baptist Home at Brookmeade for the wonderful care of their mother in her final year.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 16 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Funeral Service will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 17 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in New Rochelle.
