Mary V. Brady, 90, formerly of Brooklyn, died on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Wingate at Dutchess.
Born in Brooklyn on April 24, 1921, she was the daughter of James and Susan McKeon Brady. Mary was employed as a clerk for Winthrop, Stimpson, Putnam and Roberts in Manhattan. She was a devout Roman Catholic who served as the Sacristan for Resurrection Church in Brooklyn for many years.
Mary is survived by her niece, Diane Walsh of Wappingers Falls with whom she made her home; her sister-in-law, Dolores Brady of Wappingers Falls; and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
