Mary Adele Bruskewicz, age 96, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on April 21, 2024. She was born in Yonkers, NY on January 29, 1928 to the late Giulio and Adele (Vasco) Mastrovito. She married her beloved husband Chester J. Bruskewicz at St. Casimir's Church in Yonkers in 1947. Chester sadly predeceased her in 2019.

Mary was a wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. When her children attended St. Bartholomew's School in Yonkers, she enjoyed her 20 years of service with the PTA. She greatly enjoyed cooking for her family, loving her grandchildren and great grandchildren, throwing parties, reading, and gardening. As she grew older, she spent many happy hours at the Senior Center in East Fishkill, enjoying card games with new friends.

Mary is survived by her children: Gretchen Altabef, Paula Clinchy (Richard), Pamela Russo (Theodore), Frank Bruskewicz, Julianne Trell (Mark), Beth Szlos, and David Bruskewicz (Sharon); as well as 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Chester, Mary was predeceased by her 11 siblings.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday April 28, 2024 from 3-6 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Monday April 29, 2024 at St. Denis Church 602 Beekman Rd. Hopewell Junction, NY.
