Mary Jane Esainko, 83, a resident of Hopewell Junction for 24 years and formerly of Bronxville, died on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in New York City on March 7, 1931, she was the daughter of Andrew and Ann Uhryn Markus. On February 5, 1950 in Brooklyn, Mary Jane married William Esainko who predeceased her in 1968. She is survived by her sons, William Esainko and his wife Eileen, and Eugene Esainko; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her brother Eugene Muzyka in 2003 and her son Richard Esainko in 2009.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5-7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be on Friday at 10am at the funeral home followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
