Mary T. Hoffman died on June 20, 2025 at her son's home. She was born in West Rutland, Vermont, daughter of Stanley and Josephine (Wasik) Chapla. She was educated in Vermont and graduated from Nursing School in Hanover, New Hampshire. On October 4, 1958 she married Frederick Hoffman.

She is survived by 3 sons: Steven Hoffman of Nanuet, NY, Jeffrey Hoffman of Port Orange, Florida, and Paul Hoffman and his wife Lesley of Fishkill, NY; 4 grandchildren: Ryan Hoffman , Brittany and her husband Jonnie Tublewicz, Mary Elizabeth Hoffman, Lauren Hoffman and great-granddaughter- Emmy Hoffman . She is also survived by 2 sisters.

There are no calling hours. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday June 28, 2025 at 11am at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill 1089 Main St. Fishkill, NY, followed by burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
