HOPEWELL JUNCTION - Mary Frances Holz, 60, an area resident since 1996 and formerly of Coram, died on January 5, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born on September 8, 1957 in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of Frances (Covetskie) Fowles and the late Edward J. Fowles. Mary had worked for the Wappingers Central School District, as well as for Rehabilitation Support Services in Poughkeepsie. She was a member of the Hopewell Reformed Church. Mary cherished spending time with her family and friends.

On June 26, 1976 in Queens, Mary married Wilfried G. Holz who survives at home. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her daughters, Samantha Ruthkosky and her husband William, Jessica Holz and her fiancé Gregg St. John, and Christine Stella and her husband, James; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Gavin and Isabella Stella; and her siblings, Francie Santana and her husband Jose, and Edward Fowles and his wife Patricia.

Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2-5pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a funeral service at 5pm.
