Mary Oberg's Obituary
FISHKILL – Mary P. Oberg, 91, a lifelong area resident, died on July 8, 2017 at MidHudson Regional Hospital.
Born in Beacon on March 27, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (King) Fahlman. On December 28, 1945 at St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Beacon, she married Donald F. Oberg who predeceased her on February 25, 1991. Mary was a parishioner at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church in LaGrangeville.
Mary is survived by her son-in-law, Andrew Daubman of LaGrange and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Donna L. Daubman; her sisters, Elizabeth Fahlman, Catherine Splain, and Anna Herring; and her brothers, Joseph Fahlman and John Fahlman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville. Burial will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
