Mary Ada Palazzo (Hopewell Junction, NY), passed away peacefully at Channel Islands Care Facility, Santa Barbara, Ca. August 28th, 2021 with her daughter, Catherine Caul, by her side. Mary's devoted husband, Joseph Palazzo passed away in 2011. Joseph met Mary on Gun Hill Rd, the Bronx when he saw her come off a bus offering to help with her bags.

Mary was born March 6,1931 in Brooklyn NY to Pio and Catherina Piccin, immigrants from Italy. Mary Palazzo is survived by her son, Christopher Palazzo, her daughter in law, Jackie Palazzo (Hopewell Junction, NY) whom she loved dearly, who cared for her tirelessly, and celebrated her 90th Birthday in California with a Birthday song and dessert which MOM enjoyed so much!

Mary is survived by her sister Pia Inez; brother in law, Angelo Guglielmo, Boynton Beach, Florida; their two sons; Jerry and Michael. Mom adored her granddaughters Brianna Palazzo, Jamie Quaranto, husband Chris Quaranto, (Poughquag) and her great grandchildren; Ava, Gia and CJ.

Mary is survived by her "handsome grandson" (she called him), Christopher Caul and granddaughters Michaela Caul, (Carmel Valley, Ca.); Cara Priddy and husband Adam; great grandchildren, Shane and Maeve (Santa Ynez, Ca.). Her son in law; Chef Christopher Caul (Carmel Valley, Ca.) who cooked many dinners for her along with Jackie Palazzo.

Mary loved her friendship with Connie McGinnis, (Fishkill, NY) and loved Dutchess County. She was the force that moved her family there in 1968 from the Bronx. Mary enjoyed being a "Domestic Engineer". Salute' Mary Ada Palazzo for the Long Life she Lived and the Beautiful Family Legacy she left behind!

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 1-3pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a funeral service at 3pm.
