HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Mary Sahagian-Scocozza, 59, an area resident for over 30 years, died on January 13, 2022 at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital. She previously lived in White Plains and Jackson Heights, Queens.

Born in Manhattan on November 24, 1962, Mary was the daughter of the late Joseph and Cecilia (Belardo) Sahagian. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Pace University in computer science.

Mary is survived by her sons, Dayne Scocozza and Austin Scocozza and his wife Sabrina; her sister, Joann Folchetti; her husband, Ralph Scocozza; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by entombment at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 100 Mill Street, Putnam Valley.
