MaryAnn Doria, 77, died on October 27, 2024. Born in the Bronx on 2/14/1947, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Theresa Doria.

As a teenager, MaryAnn would skip school and run along rooftops with her best friend and cousin, Jimmy Dauria. MaryAnn loved to reminisce about their adventures and tell these stories to the many nephews and nieces she raised as if they were her own children. MaryAnn was considered the nucleus of her family due to her devotion and love for all of her nieces and nephews. She was affectionately known to all as "Mare."

In her spare time, Mare enjoyed watching old westerns and listening to music, she especially loved songs by her teenage crush Englebert Humperdinck. Being surrounded by her family at BBQs in Glen Island Park was Mare's sanctuary.

Mare is survived by several cousins, and a plethora of grateful nieces and nephews including Michael (Adrienne) Brescia, Christopher (Colette) Mott, Jessica Doria, and Mare's baby, Billy (Christie) Doria and their children Anthony and Brianna, as well as her neighbor and friend Roseann.

Visitation will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, October 30th from 5 - 7 pm. A celebration of her life will be held next Summer at Glen Island Park.
