WAPPINGERS FALLS - Maryann Maher, 46, an area resident since 1972 and formerly of Yonkers, died on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Westchester Medical Center.

Born in Yonkers on December 8, 1967, she was the daughter of William Maher and the late Joan (Eisele) Maher who predeceased her on December 22, 2006.
Maryann was presently employed by PepsiCo in Somers, where she has worked for the past 15 years. She was a member of the East Fishkill Women’s Softball League and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. A spiritual person, Maryann believed in all things magical.

In addition to her father, Maryann is survived by her loving daughters, Samantha Palladino of Stuart, FL and Kayla Palladino of Wappingers Falls; her brothers and sisters, William Maher, Jr. and his wife Debra of Poughkeepsie, Theresa Jordan of LaGrangeville, Stephen Maher and his wife Stacey of Wappingers Falls, Catherine Juhn and her husband Karl of Fishkill, and Eileen Maher of Wappingers Falls; and her nieces and nephews, Alyssa and Danielle Maher, Alyson Jordan, and Jack and Brady Juhn.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
