Obituary

Fishkill- MaryAnn Pistachio, a resident of Fishkill, NY since 2000 and formerly of the Bronx passed away at Taconic Hopewell on Sunday, January 19, 2025. She was 87 years old.

MaryAnn was born in Manhattan, NY on January 15, 1938, the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Tetro) Losquatro.

In 1959, MaryAnn married the love of her life, Anthony Pistachio (Tony), at Immaculate Conception Church in Bronx, NY. Tony survives at home.

MaryAnn worked as a secretary for National Shopping Centers in Rye, NY for over 15 years. She was a parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill, NY.

MaryAnn loved reading, crossword puzzles and watching movies. She enjoyed listening to music of all genres and eras, especially the 1950s.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Teresa O'Loughlin and her husband, Stephen of Mahopac, NY and Anthony Pistachio, Jr. of East Fishkill, NY, and many nieces and nephews.

MaryAnn is pre-deceased by her sisters Antoinette Lamacchia and Angelina Brewer.

Calling hours will be at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill Inc. 1089 Main Street on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 4pm - 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on January 29, 2025, at 10AM at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY 12524.
