Matthew F. Seaboldt, 37, a lifelong area resident, was taken from us on October 2, 2020.
Born on July 26, 1983 in Poughkeepsie, NY, Matthew was the son of Wendy Haumaier and Frederick Seaboldt.
Matthew was employed as a pesticide technician with Pestech Pest Solutions for the past 5 years. He had a passion for computer technology and the different genres of gaming, something he shared with his son. He especially loved spending time with his family.
On May 31, 2014 in Hopewell Junction, Matthew married Laurel Snook, daughter of Timothy and Catherine Snook, who survives at home. He is also survived by his son, Tiernan; his mother and stepfather, Wendy and Robert Haumaier of Pleasant Valley; his father and stepmother, Frederick and Anne Seaboldt of Danbury, CT; his siblings, Sarah Bernstein and her husband, Adam, Brian Seaboldt, David Seaboldt, Christina Seaboldt, Jessica Scullin, and Matthew Mansourian; his grandmothers, Carol Seaboldt and Sheila Mailler; his nieces and nephews, Jacob, Alaina, Jay, Johnny, Lexi and CC; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends.
The family will be holding a private service to honor Matthew.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF.org).
