Maureen June DeAngelis, a longtime resident of Fishkill, NY and formerly of Ossining, NY, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, August 30, 2024. She was 73.

She was born on May 5, 1951 in Mount Vernon, NY. For many years, Maureen worked in the engineering department for the telecommunications company NYNEX Corporation at the firm's offices in Westchester County. She served as manager prior to her retirement.

She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill, NY. She enjoyed countless hobbies, especially those related to arts & crafts, such as creating stained glass. She was also an avid gardener and in her younger years she loved to golf.

Maureen is survived by four siblings and their spouses: Thomas & Maria Elliott, David Elliott and his wife Lisa, Diane & John Kehs, and Peter & Niki Elliott; many nieces & nephews, along with their families; and countless other loving relatives & friends.

She was predeceased by her mother, June Natlo Elliott, in 2021; and her father, Robert A. Elliott, in 2012.

Visitation will be held from 8:45am to 9:45am on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. Immediately following, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY. Interment will follow at St. Denis Cemetery, 604 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction, NY.
