MILLBROOK – Maureen Dedaj, 17, died on September 4, 2021.

Maureen was born in Poughkeepsie on November 23, 2003, the daughter of Patricia Nelson. She was a 2021 graduate of Millbrook High School where she was a cheerleader and played softball and volleyball. Maureen loved being a waitress.

Maureen was very sweet and loved by everyone. She was a second daughter to many moms, and a sister to many. She will be greatly missed.

Maureen is survived by her mother, Patricia Nelson, and her brothers, as well as many other family members and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
