Maureen Lynch Pozo, age 76, passed away at home on January 19, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Yonkers, NY on December 21, 1948, she was the daughter of the late John and Jean (Organ) Lynch. On October 14, 1977, Maureen married her loving husband John Pozo. He survives at home.

Maureen was an avid reader who loved to learn. She was talkative and strong minded. She enjoyed playing cards, online poker, and especially taking care of her many plants that she had around the house.

She was kind and generous and was a person you could depend on for helpful advice. She was a loving wife, mother, and nanny who's love you always felt.

In addition to her husband John, she is survived by her children: John Kubasek and his wife Suzy, Jeannine Lanzetta, and Steven Malley and his wife Tina; her grandchildren: Dion Lanzetta, Brandi Lanzetta, Andrew Grove, Regan Malley, and Preston Malley; and her siblings: Patrick Lynch and Mary Vaccarino.

She was predeceased by her siblings: Eugene Lynch, James Lynch, Kathleen Hinchcliffe, and Timothy Lynch.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday January 25, 2025 from 5 -8 pm, at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction, NY. A Funeral Service will begin at 7:30 pm.
