WAPPINGERS FALLS - Michael James Dore, 56, a lifelong area resident, died suddenly on November 19, 2025 while skiing in Vermont.

Michael was born in Yonkers, NY on June 28, 1969. An avid outdoorsman , Michael enjoyed skiing, mountain biking, motocross, and fishing.

Michael is survived by his wife, Victoria Jackson; his sons, Jackson Jackson and Justin Jackson; his mother, Jean Dore; his siblings, Kimberly Bretts, Kelly DelCarpio and her husband James, and Brother Sean Dore; and several nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his father, Cornelius Dore.
