Michael
Ejercito
September 20, 1954 – October 3, 2025
Michael Paul Ejercito passed away on October 3, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 71 years old. Born on September 20, 1954, in St. Joseph, Missouri, he was the son of the late Dr. Emilio and Mary (Devaney) Ejercito. On January 11, 1975, Michael married his beloved wife Gerrianne (Thorn) Ejercito at St. John the Evangelist in Beacon, NY. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Michael was an avid golfer. He was also a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, which made football season interesting in his household, considering his grandson John Michael rooted for the NY Jets and his son-in-law Daniel for the NY Giants. There was a lot of good-natured back and forth about whose team was the best!
Michael also loved to travel; his favorite place to visit was Hawaii. He was a lifelong dog lover and had an incredible bond with his English Bulldog, Willow. She passed away last December, and he would always talk about how much he missed her.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife Gerrianne Ejercito ; his daughter Michelle Riemer and her husband Daniel; his grandchildren John Michael and Emily; his sisters: Marilyn Ejercito and her fiancé Sean, Lisa Siwicki and her husband Ken, and Joan Chrysler and her husband John; his nieces and nephews: Leanne, Brian, Steven, Caroline, Kristen, Danielle, Sarah, and Dennis; and his great-niece Lucy.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 4-7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill , 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 Willow Street, Beacon, NY, followed by burial in St. Joachim's Cemetery, 325 Washington Avenue, Beacon, NY.
