LAGRANGEVILLE – Michael A. Fragola, 76, an area resident since 2002, died peacefully at his son's home on December 6, 2020. He previously lived in the Bronx.

He was employed by Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx for over 30 years until his retirement in 2002. During his retirement, he enjoyed working at Poughkeepsie Nissan and Dutchess Dodge.
He is survived by his wife of 35 plus years, Linda (Poolt) Fragola at home; his children and their spouses, Maria Fragola and Anthony Maestri of the Bronx, Ralph and Francesca Fragola of Hopewell Junction, Michelle and Andrew Mallett of Red Hook, and John Avallone of Yonkers; his grandchildren, Ralph, Jr., Zachary, Skylar, and Rayne; his siblings, Edyie Grafer, Marie Saracino, Vito Fragola, and Ralph Fragola; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, Nicholas.
An avid fan of sports, he especially enjoyed watching the NY Yankees. He enjoyed fishing and taking trips to the casino. He was heavily into politics and would go great lengths to get his point across to everyone. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. His grandchildren looked forward to his weekly visits with Dunkin' Donuts!
