PLEASANT VALLEY - Michael Dennis Goodrich, 59, passed away at home on November 29, 2023.

Michael was born on July 30, 1964 in Suffern, NY. His successful career as a chef included time at many exceptional restaurants including Spago Restaurant by Wolfgang Puck in Beverly Hills, CA, Las Vegas, NV, and Mexico City, Mexico, Celestino Drago Restaurant in Beverly Hills, CA, the Clarion Hotel in Mexico, Michael's New York, Bella Blu Restaurant in New York City, and the Garden City Hotel in Long Island. He also opened a restaurant for Celestino Drago in the New Otani Hotel in Tokyo, Japan.

Michael loved animals, especially dogs and cats. He enjoyed volunteering for Meals on Wheels.

Michael is survived by his father, Sidney M. Goodrich and his wife Norma; his brother, Mark Goodrich, his wife Nannette, their children, Brianna and Brandon Hubek and their children Aubrey, Kaleigh, and Knox and Nicolette and Leighton Sovis and their children Micah, Josiah, Callahan, and Elijah; his brother, Matthew Goodrich, his wife Anna, and their children William, Theodoros, Yainni, and Evi; his wife, Guadeloupe Zubieta Sanchez-Goodrich; his uncle Howard and his family; Norma's extended family; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Visitation will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 1-4 pm with a funeral service beginning at 3:30 pm.
