BEACON - Michael Lentini, 79, an area resident for 30 years and formerly of Queens, died on May 14, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in Caltanisetta, Sicily on January 15, 1939, he was the son of the late Francesco and Lucia (Giglio) Lentini. Michael was employed as a foreman for Dorel Hat Company in Beacon for many years. He enjoyed watching the horse races, listening to Frank Sinatra and Andre Bochelli, and visiting St. John's Church daily. Above all, he loved being with his family. He was hardworking and devoted his life to the ones he loved.

Michael is survived by his wife Elda (Bautista) Lentini; his children, Frank Lentini, Ernie Lentini, Maria Lentini, Michael Lentini Jr. and his wife Tina, Jennifer Constantino and her husband John, and Melissa Lentini; his grandchildren, Daniel Lentini, Amanda Lentini, Matthew Lentini, Michael Lettieri, Paul Lettieri, Nicholas Lentini, Mia Lentini, Khloe Bradleyl, Luca Lentini, Anthony Constantino, Mason Bradley, Charlotte Lentini, and Stella Constantino; his siblings, Salvatore Lentini, Josephine Lentini and Antoinette Gentile; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Frank Lentini and Lino Lentini,

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday at 10am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 Willow Street, Beacon followed by interment in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
