Hopewell Junction- Michael H. McMurl a long-time resident of Hopewell Junction, NY passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2022. He was 79.
Michael was born on August 1942, the son of Harry and Mildred McMurl.
Michael proudly served his country from 1961-1965 in the United States Navy aboard the Aircraft Carrier Constellation.
Mike was a telephone lineman for Verizon in Poughkeepsie until his retirement.
He was a jack of all trades who could do or fix just about anything. He enjoyed hunting, boating, and fishing.
Mike is survived by his loving wife Gerry of 57 years, his sisters Linda and Deana and best four-legged buddy Rocky.
He is pre-deceased by his parents and sister Darlene.
