Poughkeepsie, NY - Michael Henry Minard, born May 11, 1965 in Cold Spring, NY and grew up in Peekskill NY, passed away on September 28, 2023 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mike was employed for the past 6 years by AmerisourceBergen in Newburgh NY as a warehouse, forklift driver.

He is survived by his mother Amelia Minard, Pleasant Valley; his fiancé and partner of 22 years Barbara Kemp of the home address; his sisters, Jeannie (Larry) Barette, North Carolina, Bonnie (Paul) Wiggers, Florida, Christina (Tom) McGrath of Hyde Park; his brothers, Don Minard, Jr., Pleasant Valley, Kenneth (Sara) Minard, Poughkeepsie; his nieces and nephews, Christopher DiCaprio, Krystal (Kevin) Schmitt, Larry Barette Jr., Steven Minard, Jr., Taylor Wiggers, Shania Minard, Mark and Zachery McGrath, Jessica Jaycox and Jason Reed; his stepsons, Christopher (Eileen) Kemp, and Dale Kemp; his great nephews, Brentley and Brody Schmitt, Ayden Wiggers and Orson DiCaprio; and his grandson, Everett and granddaughter Allison Kemp. Many aunts and uncles also survive him.

He was predeceased by his father Donald Minard Sr., and a brother, Steven Minard, Sr.

Family & friends will receive guests at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main St., Fishkill, NY on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 6-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the local American Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice in Michael's memory.
