Michael Joseph Tatavitto, 33, a resident of Wappingers Falls and previously of Verplanck, died on December 27, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born on June 27, 1988 in Carmel, Michael was the son of Michael Tatavitto and Karen (Davis) Tatavitto. On November 21, 2020 in Connecticut, Michael married Hannah Kibbe who survives at home.

Michael worked as a landscaper for New Image for 3 years. He loved spending time with his family and playing with the kids. He enjoyed playing basketball, riding quads and motorcycles, and drinking beer.

Michael is survived by his father Michael; his mother, Karen; his stepmother, Darlene Tatavitto; his daughters, Brooke and Kylee; his grandmothers, Kathy Tatavitto and Mary Jane Davis; his nephew who he loved like his own son, Hunter; his cousin who was more like a brother, Joseph Tatavitto; his siblings, Stefani, Nicholas, Benjamin, Kaylee, Riley, Anthony, Johnathon, Kassidy, Vincent; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Michael was predeceased by son, Michael Tatavitto on February 13, 2020.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to his daughters.
