Obituary

NEW FARIFIELD, CT – Michael Carmine Trepiccione, 68, a resident of New Fairfield, CT since 2017, passed away on August 27, 2023 at Danbury Hospital. He previously lived in Hopewell Junction, NY.

Born on November 30, 1954 in Yonkers, NY, Michael was the son of the late Ralph and Cecelia (Immordino) Trepiccione. He had retired from Consolidated Edison in the Bronx after 48 dedicated years of service.

A lifelong fan of the Beatles, Michael also enjoyed rebuilding classic cars and was passionate about landscaping. He could repair anything and everything, and was always available for his friends and family with his time and skills. More than anything, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid supporter of all his grandchildren's endeavors, from soccer and lacrosse to dance and orchestra. He was there for it all. He spent countless hours with them, enjoying diner dinner dates and hosting sleepovers. The joy they brought him is immeasurable and his love for them will never be forgotten.

On April 7, 2021 in New Fairfield, CT, Michael married Wendy (Chapleski) Castro Trepiccione who survives at home. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his children, Melissa Losquadro and her husband Wiliam of Beekman, NY, Anthony Trepiccione of Hopewell Junction, NY, and Nicole Nichols and her husband Austin of LaGrangeville, NY; his grandchildren, Lia, Marco, and Bianca Losquadro and Gavin, Greta, and Holden Nichols; his stepchildren, Nicole Castro of Carlsbad, CA, Christina Metzler and her husband Ethan of Loveland, OH, and Matthew Castro of New Fairfield, CT; his step-grandchildren, Rowan, Theo, and Maeve Metzler; his siblings, Mary Lou Amendola and Gary Trepiccione; his former spouse, Maryann Trepiccione of Hopewell Junction; and many nieces and nephews. He also will be deeply missed by his five beloved dogs, Charlie, Teddy, Henry, Brooklyn, and Max.

Visitation will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY on Saturday, September 2nd from 2 -6 pm with a funeral service beginning at 5:15 pm.
