Michele AnnMarie Swarner Kinsell, 57, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 2001 and formerly of Westchester County, died on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at her home.

Born in Inglewood, CA on February 26, 1957, she was the daughter of John L. Swarner Sr. and Myrtle M. Scott. Michele proudly served our country in the US Air Force. She was employed as a cash room clerk at TJ Maxx in Poughkeepsie and was a member of the Columbiettes of St. Mary's Council #4065.

Michele is survived by her loving children, Christina Cortes and her husband Juan of Wappingers Falls, and Jonathan Kinsell and his significant other Emily Booth of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Kayla, Alexa, Jac, Christian, Andrew, Joshua and Jacob; her brother, John Swarner Jr. and his wife JoAnn of Fishkill; her sister, Lisha Jean Coster and her husband Victor; her nephews, Victor and Zachary of Hopewell Junction; and many aunts, uncles, family members and friends.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
