POUGHKEEPSIE - Michele Parisi, 64, an area resident since 1996, died on December 25, 2024 surrounded by his family at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He previously lived in the Bronx.

Born on May 7, 1960 in Gravina, Bari, Italy, Mike was the son of the late Felice and Bruna (Tambone) Parisi. He immigrated to the United States in 1972. He retired in 2009 after 30 years in the construction industry with Local 731 in Queens.

Mike was an avid fan of the NY Giants. He made the absolute best Mozzarella. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

On December 4, 1982 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in the Bronx, he married Dawn (Volgarino) Parisi who survives at home. He is also survived by his sons, Michael Parisi and Anthony Parisi; his siblings and their spouses, Nina and Pasquale Donatiello, Nat and Adelina Parisi, Nino and Maria Parisi, Pina and Frank Marinaro, and Frank and Julie Parisi; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 28th from 2 - 6 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
