Miguel
Dominguez
May 20, 1936 – October 25, 2025
Miguel Dominguez, 89, of Wappinger Falls, New York, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Cuba on May 20, 1936, he was the son of the late Miguel and Maria Dominguez. Miguel immigrated to the United States on Christmas Eve of 1970, seeking a better life for his family. On December 30, 1961, he married the love of his life, Juana, in Cuba, and together they shared over six decades of devotion and partnership.
Miguel worked as a machinist for Hudson Wire Company in Ossining for more than 40 years until his well-earned retirement. He was a proud and faithful member of Tabernacle of Christ Church in Beacon, NY.
A man of simple joys, Miguel loved listening to Cuban music, cheering for his beloved New York Yankees, and spending time gardening alongside his family. His quiet strength, kind spirit, and deep love for his family will be forever remembered.
He is survived by his cherished wife, Juana; his children, Mayra Cantero (Henry), Miguel Dominguez III (Heather), and Robert Dominguez (Elyssa); and his 11 grandchildren: Jessica, Keilah, Justin, Miguel "Mikey," Erica, Desi, Paulie, Rachel, David, Rebecca, and Chris. He is also survived by one great-granddaughter, Naiomi, and one great-great-granddaughter, Valentina. Miguel leaves behind his beloved siblings Mercedes, Roberto, Magaly, Maria Elena, and Magda.
Miguel's legacy of faith, love, and perseverance lives on through all who knew and loved him.
