Mildred Koretsky, 91, a resident of Dutchess County since 1972 and formerly of Yorktown Heights and the Bronx, died on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at the Elant in Fishkill.
Born on April 23, 1918 in the Bronx, she was the daughter of James and Loretta Byrne.  On February 17, 1939, Millie married Felix Koretsky who predeceased her on April 11, 2004.

She is survived by her children, Felix Koretsky and his wife, Rita of Wappingers Falls, Ronald Koretsky and his wife, Terry of Palm Bay, FL and Nancy Uveges of Wappingers Falls; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
