FISHKILL – Miltha Rodriguez Nazario, 77, died at home on May 6, 2021. A resident of Fishkill since 2012, she previously lived in Wappingers Falls, Hopewell Junction, and the Bronx.
Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on April 4, 1944, Miltha was the daughter of the late Rupert Rodriguez and Paulina Nazario. She was employed as a home health aide in the Bronx until her retirement in 2000.
Miltha enjoyed knitting, doing jigsaw puzzles, and making jewelry. Most of all, she loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them.
Miltha is survived by her children, Gladys Colón Langhorn and her husband Thomas of Fishkill, Wilfredo Colón, Jr. of Fishkill, Jorge Colón of New Jersey, and Erica Colón of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, Chantel Felicier and her wife Elizabeth, Shannon Colón, Alyssa Colón, Jorge Colón, Jr., Enrique Colón, and Liani Langhorn; her siblings, Ezzard Rodriguez and his wife Rosa Rodriguez, Emerita Rodriguez, Julio Serrano, Antonio Nazario and his wife Migdalia Ortega, and Norma Nazario; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Miltha was also predeceased by her son, José L. Colón in 1998.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 11th from 4-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill with a funeral service at 7:30 pm at the funeral home. PLEASE NOTE: In compliance with NYS guidelines, social distancing and face masks will be required.
