Milton N. Brathwaite, 74, a resident of Brooklyn, died on December 22, 2020 at his home.
Born in Colon, Panama on May 3, 1946, he was the son of Thelma Loletta Marretto who died on November 11, 2014. Milton had been employed by the NYC Housing Authority in Brooklyn.
Lovingly known as “Tito” and “Tio Rico”, he was very loving and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed boxing, and taking his nieces and nephew to baseball games and the racetrack. He was loved by everyone including his aide Ms. Kanako who loved him dearly.
Milton is survived by his wife Pearl Brathwaite; his sister, Elena Ballard of Poughkeepsie; his nieces and nephews, Sofia McFarlane, Mariana McGuire, Maribel McFarlane, Valentino McFarlane, Kimsha McFarlane, and Jessica McFarlane; 13 great-nieces, 9 great-nephews, 7 great, great-nieces, 7 great, great-nephews; and several other siblings and relatives in Panama and the United States.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 16 from 10am -12pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a funeral service at 11am.
