Monica Capogrosso, a resident of Fishkill since 2018 and previously from Westchester County, passed away at home on November 21, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was 59.

Monica was born on September 30, 1965, in North Tarrytown, NY, to Joseph Capogrosso and Angelina Mantis. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She spent her life dedicated to her work as a Bank Teller, serving the community with dedication and kindness. Her career spanned over two decades, working for both Wachovia/Wells Fargo Bank in Westchester County and TD Bank in Fishkill. In addition to her professional endeavors, Monica found immense joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she adored dearly.

A woman of deep faith, Monica's love for Jesus was evident in the compassion and empathy she showed to all those around her. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Monica is survived by her children Matthew Rivera and his wife, Natalie, Justin Rivera and his wife, Amanda of Fishkill, Angelina Diaz of Poughkeepsie, and Pablo Diaz of Cortlandt Manor, as well as her grandchildren Gabriel, Ava, Xander, and Liliana. She is also survived by her sister, Joanne Capogrosso and brother, Joseph Capogrosso.

In addition to her parents, Monica was predeceased by her brother, Andrew Darby.

Visitation services for Monica will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY on December 2, 2024, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm where friends and family can pay their respects and honor her memory.
