HOPEWELL JUNCTION - Monique Guilleman, 85, passed away peacefully at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on January 14, 2026.

Born on December 26, 1940, in Ottignies, Belgium, Monique was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rene (Piette) Guillemain.

Monique is survived by her children, Marika Pek of Orlando, FL, Karl Pek of Punta Gorda, FL, and Francoise Ayoub and her husband Kamal of Orlando, FL; her sister Andre of Brussels, Belgium; grandchildren, Karl Pek Jr. (Nicole), Amber Mount (Paul), Albert Pek, Ibrahim Ayoub, Taylor Pek, Sarah Ayoub, Caitlin Shanley, Briana Shanley, Curtis Pek, and Kyle Pek; as well nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Monique was also pre-deceased by her granddaughter, Julia Ayoub, in 2013.

Visitation will be held on Saturday January 17, 2026 from 11-12 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home Inc. 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction, NY.
